FE Initial Teacher Training (ITT) Bursaries

The training bursary is a financial incentive to attract and retain new high quality graduates to become teachers in the Further Education (FE) sector.  Bursary levels will vary according to the degree classification held by the trainee and the specialism in which they wish to train to teach, either English language or mathematics (from basic to GCSE and level 3).  Application for the bursary is made via the teacher training provider and any queries about the progress of your application should be addressed to them. The overall scheme is administered by NCTL on behalf of DfE.

The 18/19 Guidance is now available and can be downloaded from here
